From idea to App Store listing

We write one codebase with Vue and Capacitor and turn it into two apps: one for iPhone, one for Android. We only write native code where hardware or performance demands it.

iOS & Android from one codebase

One codebase built with Vue, Nuxt and Capacitor runs on iPhones and Android devices. You pay for each new feature once instead of twice, and we fix bugs in one place. Where hardware access or raw performance calls for it, we add native code for exactly that part.

UX/UI design & clickable prototype

Before we write any code, you tap through a clickable prototype on your own phone. An awkward flow shows up while it is still cheap to fix. The design follows iOS and Android conventions, so the app feels familiar on both.

Backend & connections to your systems

The app reads data from your ERP, CRM or database and writes changes back. If there is no suitable API, we build a backend with Node.js or PHP. User accounts, roles and sign-in are part of the job.

Push, camera, offline & location

Push notifications remind users of appointments or flag new jobs. The camera scans barcodes or documents damage with a photo. With no signal, the app stores entries locally and syncs once it is back online. We only use location data if your use case genuinely needs it.

Release on the App Store & Google Play

We prepare store listings, screenshots and the data usage details Apple and Google require, then see the app through review. If a store rejects a build, we handle the fixes. The developer accounts are registered to your company, so you stay in control of your app.

Maintenance & updates for new OS versions

Apple and Google release new operating system versions every year and tighten their store rules along the way. We test your app against new versions, update dependencies and submit updates. Leave an app untouched for a year and you risk crashes on new devices and restrictions in the store.

Conversation & requirements

We work out who will use the app, which tasks it has to handle and which systems it talks to. The result is a feature list with a clear line between the first version and later stages. Then you receive a written offer.

Clickable prototype & UX

We design the key screens as a clickable prototype. You try it on your phone, ideally with a few real users, and we adjust the flows before the first line of code is written.

Development with test builds

We build in short iterations. After each one, you install a test build via TestFlight or Google Play internal testing and give feedback right on the device.

Release & maintenance

We submit the app to Apple and Google and handle the review. After launch, we fix bugs, keep the app current for new iOS and Android versions and add features when you need them.

Questions about app development

How much does it cost to have an app developed?

The main cost drivers are the number and complexity of screens, integration with existing systems, whether a separate backend is needed and device features such as offline mode or push notifications. An app that only displays data costs considerably less than one that records jobs offline and syncs them with your ERP. You receive a written offer once we have gathered your requirements. Running costs such as store fees and hosting are listed separately in it.

Is a web app enough, or do I need an app in the store?

Often a web app is enough. If your users mainly look up information, fill in forms or log in to a portal, a progressive web app in the browser does the job, with no store review and no install hurdle. A store app pays off when you need Bluetooth devices, location features in the background or a listing in the App Store. Because we build both with the same technology, a web app can become a store app later without starting from scratch.

Native or cross-platform: which is better?

For most business apps, cross-platform. With Vue and Capacitor, we maintain one codebase for iOS and Android, which makes development and later updates noticeably simpler. We write native code only for the parts where hardware access or performance require it, such as connecting a dedicated scanner. For a graphics-heavy game this would be the wrong choice, for job tracking, customer portals or staff apps it is the right one.

Who publishes the app in the stores?

We do: store listings, screenshots, uploading builds and dealing with Apple and Google during review. The developer accounts are registered to your company, and we work with access you grant us. That way the app stays in your hands, even if you change provider later.

Can the app work with our existing software?

Yes, as long as the software offers an interface or one can be built. Often that is a REST API from your ERP or CRM, sometimes just a database export. If neither exists, we put a lean backend in between that prepares the data for the app and secures access.
